Congratulations Agatha!

With our new binti assistance program, any of our caregivers are able to contact the orphanage for help once they are back home, settled in and know what would be the most useful. Caregivers in the cake classes can receive supplies to start a small business. Those who have spent time caring for our livestock or enjoyed farming using raised garden beds can receive a goat, chickens or supplies for raised gardens. Our sewing teacher will make recommendations on which caregivers have gained enough skill to become a seamstress.

Agatha and Angel just returned home last week, after Angel turned 3. Agatha was part of the sewing program is our first binti eligible for a sewing machine and supplies to start her own sewing business! We are proud of Agatha and all of her hard work while she was with us. We look forward to hearing from her in a few months to see how we can best help her.

Keep Agatha and Angel in your prayers as they adjust to their new lives outside of the orphanage. While we are happy to have them return home, it is always sad to say goodbye. Angel will be living with her grandma. Agatha will help Angel adjust to life at her grandma's before returning to her mother's house about 30 minutes from Angel's new home.
